My name is Luis (Louie) A. Figueroa, the owner, and inspector for A.C.F. Home Inspections, Inc. I would like to welcome you to my website and I hope you find it informative in all aspects of Home Inspections in Orlando, FL.

My interest in Homes started on a personal level. I was having our home built.

I had taken classes in Air Conditioning, Electrical, Plumbing, and Carpentry in my earlier days and knew enough to allow me to become my own home inspector in Orlando, Florida, and try to catch any errors made along the way. (And of course, of did!). As a Veteran of the Army, I was trained to be alert and aware of my surroundings. Careful attention to detail was very important as a forward observer. These traits that I have learned from the military, have allowed me to incorporate them into my work.

After realizing that I enjoyed watching our home being built, I decided to take the  Home Inspection courses and started my own company in 2001.

I was Trained by the Ed Klopfer Schools of Home Inspections, but I did not stop there. I am also trained by The Inspection Depot Training Institute as a “New Construction Inspection Specialist”. (Trainer Jeff Hooper 2004/2005 FABI President). When time allows, I have made it a point to attend the NACHI’s monthly, quarterly, and annual Training Conventions, where they offer many training seminars that provide me the opportunity to stay on top of the latest information regarding our field.

I am a member of InterNACHI (International Association of Certified Home Inspectors, Inc) and a certified mold and air quality inspector trained by ESA Environmental Solutions Inc. I am also trained in Commercial Inspection.

The most frequently asked question I get from my Client is “What does ACF stand for?” ACF stands for our daughter’s initials, Alisa Christina Figueroa; an idea my wife and I came up with one rainy afternoon. By the way, you will get to know my wife, Wanda. She answers the phone for me while I do the inspections.
